Hi beauties,
I hope this finds you well. My plan was to talk about quiet luxury in this blog post, but today I feel the need to talk about something so fresh and raw that I am currently dealing with. I only hope and pray that this may help you.
This last month people around me have been slandering my character, talking bad about me, and making fun of me. And to be honest with you it has been such a strange experience. I have been bullied, rejected, misunderstood, and targeted not only by random people in the streets, but from people online. Even worse, I have been slandered by people I know.
At times I feel angry, other times I want to call people and defend myself. People make assumptions about me, without even truly knowing me. Even worse, some people gossip and create rumors about me without even hearing my side of the story.
But, I am reminded that as a child of God and carrier of his presence, I walk with a target on my back. And though it is filled with many scars, it is the sacrifice of walking with Him. Because of who I am, and who He has called me to be, I will always be a threat.
I am in no way saying I am perfect or far from making mistakes. In fact, it is because of my unworthiness and flaws I desperately need Christ to redeem and correct me when I fall short. However, because of my spiritual sensitivity I know why God is allowing certain circumstances to be made manifest. He wants to teach me a valuable lesson and because of the pain I am going through now I will never again be moved by people’s words and actions.
Last month I received a written note from my Spiritual Mother, Prophetess Maggy, and she said, “Before God be a lamb, before man be a lion.” Little did I know God would be purging me of old ways of thinking, behaviors, and people in my life in order to be in this place of boldness and confidence.
In this season here are 6 reminders that have been helping me:
In life there will always be people who hate, envy, and gossip about you. Pay them no mind because the anointing is disturbing to many people.
God will always defend and vindicate you in the presence of your enemies.

Friends and family members will talk about you when God is preparing to elevate you. God is revealing to you who is really for you and who you must leave behind in the next chapter of your life.
I have insight and foresight. I know all things work together for my good because I am called according to his purpose. All of the difficulty I am going through is a setup from God to reveal to me His glory.
[He] preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (Psalm 23:5)
Prayer:
Father God, thank you for opening my spiritual eyes. Thank you for expanding my discernment to know that you are working out all things for my good. In order for this law to be made manifest, we are reminded that we must love you and be found walking in your purpose.
Father God, re-align me. Show me once more the plans and vision you have for my life. Without purpose or vision I am useless and idle. Re-ignite my fire. Strengthen me to carry out your perfect will and purpose in my life.
Father, right now I am hurting. Please remove my pain and frustration. May you lift this burden so that I may be set free. Though this situation may not change today or tomorrow, I know that you can change me and my perspective.
Cause my heart not to harden. Allow me to always move in love. If there be any bitterness or resentment in me, cleanse me of it. May I remain pure before you.
Though I am walking through the fire, I know I'm not walking alone. Cause me to see the end from the beginning, and the beginning to the end.
I thank you for this necessary pruning for I know that new fruit will grow from the vine. Thank you for stripping and removing people and friends for I know it means you will bring new destiny partners, friendships, and relationships my way.
May your perfect will be done in my life so that I may come out purified as gold.
